700-acre plan being shaped

Residents and planners this fall will begin to decide what could be built on the 700 acres that will be opened up by the proposed Interstate-93 interchange where Andover, Tewksbury and Wilmington meet.

Building a new exit between the Route 125 and Dascomb Road exits on Interstate 93 has been talked about for decades. Now, it appears the exit will be built, opening up significant amounts of land to development. During the next 15 months, the three towns will shape the look of the area - from its streetscape and layout, to its buildings' heights and styles. Several open forums are planned to get feedback from abutters, residents and other stakeholders.
